When the craving for a Slush Puppy on a Sunday is just too strong, you have to explore all available options until it’s in hand. Thank you Co-op for the self service!

With Autumn now in full swing, the magical world of mushrooms start to line to shaded undergrowth.

A 250 year old, lovingly restored cement mill. There used to be loads more mills like this but now this is the only working one left.

Stretching my legs around the lanes of the Forest. Never actually been in the Occupation Museum but I though it was worth a photo.

Felt proper stormy today but the end of the day brought a little colour to the sky.

Absolutely shocking Monday. Needed an easy target before the sun disappeared! Where else but Bordeaux.

It had to be done! I wanted Alana to come too for a laugh but she wanted to chill at home.

The latest addition to the ever growing indoor plant collection. Opuntia microdasys is the technical name but commonly know as bunnies ear for obvious reasons. I made this one up for Finleys room but I’ve got one too, just slight differences in structure.

Can’t say I was one of them but loads of people enjoying the sea this morning. Always feels like part of breakfast watching the sun come up. Some days its a full English, others its just bran flakes with green milk!

Our little superstar moved up to Lane 2 and got his 10m backstroke swimming badge tonight which means he can now compete in galas. I tried backstroke at the weekend and you forget how hard it is to get a good technique so kudos to him!

Another grab shot on the way back home this morning. This is the best it got before the rain took over for the day!

Unveiled by the Queen herself, way way back in 2000, now one of my go to ‘safety shots’ when the sky looks like it’s going to get interesting.

Not quite suited to the title ‘September Rain’ but it was trying to force out a full on rainbow. As usual, I arrived as it was fading away, although the contrasting light was epic. The autumnal golden hours are beginning to kick in nicely!

Somewhere I’ve really struggled to compose over the years, mainly because you get drawn to the Pier. The tide and the cloud cover was just right to give this angle a go and I’m quite pleased with it!

I’ve always loved the look of this house, nestled in a quite lane below St Saviours church. Lookalike the gardening team have had a good year!

A thin slither on the horizon was enough to let the sun burst through some epic colour into the sky. I wish I’d taken a phot of the castle behind me because it was a surreal orange fortress.

Some days I’ll just drive the length of the island to unwind and listen to some flat out progressive trance on the the way. This is what I call a ‘grab shot’ but it feels very Guernsey!
I’m just passing the days till the big storms start rolling in so I can find that spark again.
