A far cry from the summer but this is one of the best spots on the west coast through the seasons.
Still chasing those rainbows!

Round II in what felt like the ultimate rainbow chasing day. I recon there was at least one rainbow an hour through the day but work and life commitments got their way!

A very wet weather front creeping in this morning. From my experience, sunrise rainclouds are stunning to look at. Varying heights picking up a mix of colours to feast your eyes on!

The slow transition of the colder seasons is well underway but somehow we’re still hanging on to some pretty warm weather. The sky at this time of year offers some amazing details with the suns rays breaking through the high level clouds.

Pre season stormy weather training this morning. Got an absolute pasting from the sand bowing across the beach. I tried catching some of the sand blowing down towards the sea but most of it was blowing horizontally.

It’s amazing how after what seems to have been the longest winter ever, the sight of the vibrant daffodils and blue sky can really make you feel good. Love this time of year when the world wakes up again!

It’s all about the weather. I literally plan my days around the weather. I would go as far as saying the weather is my religion. I’d probably study meteorology if i ever get the chance. Did I mention the weather?

Fierce swell coming in from the Atlantic over the last few days. This is relatively calm in comparison but I wouldn’t want to be swept away in these conditions.

Pretty chilly and windy morning to leave my nice warm bed but these are the ideal conditions to get out and shoot. Unpredictable and changeable clouds every few minutes, rainbows, sun rays and bursts of light that you just don’t get when it’s nice.
Part two on my #instagram soon.

The Spanish Met have code named this mash up of weather as Storm Miguel. As the sun was setting this amazing cloud formation was heading straight towards me from behind.

Ambient rainstorms rolling on across the island this morning. This is the weather and light that the summer just doesn’t offer!

Took shelter on the north coast this morning. The huge waves crashing on the shore were fascinating to watch. Never underestimate the power of the sea!

From one extreme to the next on this island. Seen some pretty epic rainbows this morning and the torrential downpours were something else!

Sunny days are overrated. This is the kind of weather I crave! This is a great location to observe and capture passing rain storms with a view across the whole south west of the island.

We were treated to a spectacular sunrise this morning, the colours behind were phenomenal. The temptation to shoot straight into the sun is overwhelmingly strong but I had to get some of that rainbow in.
