10:30 start on the beach making the most of the summer sunshine. The sea was a little bit feisty but it all assed to the fun!
Alana was extremely happy to have her mates with her but insisted on pulling this look with the free sunglasses they were handing out.

Crazy to think that only 11 days ago the temperature was peaking at 30°C, now the arctic winds make it feel like its about to snow. Right now its warmer in the sea than outside but there’s no chance you’ll get me out it this!

With summer almost gone, its coming to that time of year when the weather changes in a matter of minutes. With more moisture in the air and stronger winds, you get some fascinating sun rays beaming out from behind the clouds.

For the bored adventurers, a popular Guernsey pastime, scanning the low water mark to find the biggest crab. Find two or more and you can race them. I was on my own so it just felt odd to race them today!

Good things come to those who…sit in the car for nearly an hour while the rain passes because you have faith in the live cloud maps. 5:30 on the dot, the sun went down and the rain passed and all was good in the world.

Took the old 70D out to stretch her shutter curtains, my dedicated ‘this could end badly’ camera. Ended up parking sideways in the road and shooting out my window, heaters blasting and quietly watching others actually putting themselves in danger getting battered by sea water and eventually rain. I even watched someone park in the car park in front of me which was empty for a reason, only for the inevitable to happen. There’s taking a risk and then there’s being an idiot.
