The last few weeks (probably longer) I’ve lost all the drive and motivation. Looking back on the last 7 years, I’m finding it hard to see where this is actually going? My goal has definitely been reached and the saying goes, ‘when the fun stops, stop’!

It’s probably way past the time to let this marathon go…

Les Vardes quarry is slowly coming to the end of it’s life and no doubt the next generations will only know this as a deep reservoir. I can’t begin to imaging how many tonnes of stone have been extracted from here but it’s helped shape our islands infrastructure for decades.
