THE GUERNSEY

17.09.20

Most of us take these cows for granted but they’re actually quite rare on a global scale. I’ve tried milk throughout Europe and the USA and no country comes close to producing a finer milk than Guernsey. As soon as I’ve typed this I’m heading to the fridge to grab a nice ice cold glass of milk.

THE COWS

15.03.20

Stopped off at a farm near my work on the way home this evening (with permission). All the 40 odd cows were desperate for attention but only one got an attempt at a head scratch.

Ever get that feeling your being watched? Never underestimate a cat…I’ve said it before, they would take you down if they were bigger!

Five months old, a little practice and some expert advice, Danni managed to get Coconut to drift off into a trance in her arms.

DONKEYS!

12.02.19

Checking out the fine asses enjoying the sunshine in the rural lanes of St Martin. Some days it’s nice to just get back to my roots and wander around aimlessly to see whats lies around the next corner.

GOATS

25.01.19

If you think about it, Guernsey is just like one big giant farmyard. Most of the animals are visible from the road and don’t cost anything to see but the challenge is actually finding them.

LLAMA

08.01.19

On the list of the more unusual pets, this is one of Catherine Best’s finest Llama’s. Didn’t quite catch his name but I’ll refer to him as Bob..
