Took Finley to Petit Port for the first time in his 8 years on earth and he loved it! We paddled round from Moulin Huet and took some time to soak up the rays before heading back. Must have been about 20 yachts moored up between the two bays, some stunners from France rocked up as well.

When you live on a rock, you need to explore the rock. This was the perfect way to cool off after covering around 2 miles towards Icart and back to Petit Bot.

Small beach but massive character. Such a stunning location but it’s closed off at the moment (again) due to a landslide!

I always venture up to this spot round this time of year but try to time it as close to low tide as possible to really emphasise the crystal clear waters and the extent of the sandy beach at Petit Bot.

Not only is it great exercise getting down here, this time of year offers some fantastic winter light to play with. Although the tides were racing up on the flat beach, the cave offers a perfect window to mould a shot.

The tides were good but I just couldn’t find a composition I liked on the sand. The cave is always a good place to fall back on but there was very little breaks in the cloud. There’s some annoying over exposed areas on the sea but I like the rays of sunlight breaking in on the coastline.

What a way to start the week! High 20’s and hardly a breath of wind. I love hiking up to this spot on days like this.
