SHELL BEACH BABE

17.07.21

First day of my two weeks off work and celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary in the place it all happened. I think I speak for all the people who’ve ever visited Herm that it holds a special place in your heart that will always draw you back for more, year after year. I want our kids to remember these days and one day look back and appreciate how lucky they actually are.

AFTER THE STORM

06.07.21

After the excitement of this mornings unseasonal gale force winds it was nice to feel a little bit of warmth and ditch the winter gear. I did notice there were three conger eels drying out in the back of the boat. Is this a Guernsey thing i’ve missed?

SKYFALL

05.12.20

After an hour round trip to Pleinmont this morning, the only shot I actually liked was the rain falling behind Herm. Pretty much sums up the weather for the day I think. Stay warm, I’m off to eat steak and drink beer all day.

HERM

07.08.20

There was only really one place we had to be when you know it’s going to hit 30°. 08:30 milk boat over, 6 hours on Shell Beach, home by 4:30 followed by a swim in Grandpa’s pool. Finally a nice jacuzzi to top it off!

GOD RAYS

Must have used every obscenity in the English language battling through traffic this morning, knowing and watching the fantastic light fade. Luckily I had a 2-3 minute window before this amazing sight disappeared.

Herm Part II

I love Shell Beach, always have and always will but this is the first time I’ve been here at sunrise and I can honestly say, it was stunning and probably the best Herm experience I’ve ever had! Paradise was found. No people, just me and nearly a mile of pure unspoiled beach to explore.

BELVOIR BEACH

For me, it’s all about Shell Beach but anywhere on Herm feels like paradise. The summer season sees thousands of visitors to this small island but come back in the winter for a more secluded and personal experience.
