Alderney Point located at the very far north of Herm. I love this spot, it always feels like your thousands of miles away from home but with that nostalgic Herm vibe from childhood memories.

Pre season stormy weather training this morning. Got an absolute pasting from the sand bowing across the beach. I tried catching some of the sand blowing down towards the sea but most of it was blowing horizontally.

The final burst of light before the sun dipped below the clouds behind me. I loved the contrast between the dunes, the grasses and the darkening sky.

One of my favourite spots in Herm, above Mouisonniere Beach, looking towards Alderney Point. There just something about the vast open common and stunning views out to sea that takes you away from everything.

Bordeaux at low tide is a great place to explore with all the boats and ripples in the sand, its just a case of putting it all into one frame.

Never rule out a miserable rainy day! Behind what looked like a curtain of rain on the horizon was an explosion of amazing colours.

As the summer crowds slowly drift away, a brief moment of gorgeous low autumn light shines though as the rain passes overhead.

The light was there but the colours just didn’t work for me.

Stunning light down on Port Soif this afternoon. Bitterly cold wind and sand blasting up the dunes didn’t make it easy but persistence eventually paid off.
