It wasn’t until I uploaded these files I realised that the lights from the front the church grounds were casting a shadow into the sky. Feels a bit like Arkham City!

Working as an architect I study the designs of many modern and contemporary homes (archdaily is great) but as I get older the appeal of a traditional rustic Guernsey farmhouse seems more and more appealing. Unfortunately, most with generous gardens and outbuildings are well over any realistic budget.

The last 5 days have been the toughest since I started this journey. It’s been one of those weeks with very little energy, mentally and physically, and nothing seems to go to plan.

Finley with his best mate Jake from school up at the annual Young Stock Show in St Saviour. It was a damp but these two had a great time together. One cake was all it took to send them into overdrive!
