Parking the furthest point away from the shops you want has it’s perks when you get views like this!

Quick wander through town after work. This end of town has so much more potential but it just feels like its been abandoned in places.

Amazing sunrise this morning but other than squeeze it all into one frame, I felt the need to find a more intimate extract. I’ve walked this route home many times over the years and I do remember one time after a night out seeing this exact same scene. I felt a lot more human this time round!

Nothing original but I do like this little corner of town.

This time, the lights were actually working in this area but just around the corner they were still out.

Today was an absolute write off. Had a nice low tide walk at lunch but I needed a quick ‘grab shot’ on the way home. The sound of the two pubs made it feel quite festive.

A lovely little corner of town which always reminds me a little French back street.

A little continental influence in the heart of St Peter Port. Town looks great in summer, if you ignore all the scaffolding and empty shops!

Rush hour on a Wednesday evening. The only difference, most were already at home! Normally backed up with hundred of cars, it felt like a ghost town tonight.

The shortest day has passed but the nights are still long. It’s cold and wet but if you look around closely, there’s daffodils starting to appear. Spring will be here before you know it but for now, enjoy the cosy nights in front of the TV and Christmas with the people you love.

The rain got the better of me today. Sheltered in this alley between Contree Mansell and Mansell Street, it was the only shot I had the enthusiasm for. Interestingly though, these buildings date back the the mid 1600’s so there must be some interesting stories from around here. You can only wander!

Two little love birds under the Christmas lights :o)

We sometimes take for granted the little things in life, things such as having even the smallest garden space. For some, space is limited but if you’re content and don’t give a shit what anyone thinks, take it to the street like a pro.

A shot I’ve wanted to take for years but never got round to it. I think this would work better late winter when the morning sun fills up the street a little more. Still a classic Guernsey street scene.

A little continental twist in the back streets of St Peter Port.

Heading back home down the Valdies this morning and my jaw dropped when I saw this. Quick u-turn at Havelet and a desperate sprint to catch it before it disappeared!

Another stunning day on the Rock. Glorious sunshine all day topped of by being a Friday, you can’t really complain. Looking forward to beer o’clock!

The quieter streets on the outskirts of St Peter Port, basking in the midday winter sun. No matter where you go in Guernsey, almost every road will have a different feel and vibe to it. Also some cracking views out to Herm from up here.

Only 8 more sleeps till Christmas and i’m on annual leave until the new year. That also means I’ve only only 14 more days left until I put this project to bed!
