Full on rainbow appeared as I was heading home and an opportunity I couldn’t miss. I was getting hammered with rain but it was coming from behind so I didn’t have to worry about rain spots.

I didn’t expect too much from this evening and to honest I had a shot I liked from the fog this morning, but, the shadows from the groynes felt a little bit like a sun dial, tying in nicely with the equinox.

The only decent light we’ve had today was 30 minutes before sunset so a detour home via the west coast was on the cards. Much better than being stuck in the rush hour traffic!
