The highlight of my day was probably my visit to the dentist. This was the next best thing, a sight seeing tour through the lanes to find literally anything to shoot.

It may be a little on the cold side but being out in the sunshine, strolling through the rural lanes felt amazing. It may not mean much to anyone but this picture felt like a turning point. It made me remember why I started this photo marathon which was to capture Guernsey through the seasons in any way possible. No rules, no competition, just enjoying being out with the camera!

Who needs Royal Ascot when you’ve got Sheep Racing. It’s over in 20 seconds but it draws in the crowds and makes a great photo opportunity!

After watching the rain roll in over Hanois, the sun started to break through and I knew I had to move. Just around the corner the sheep presented themselves perfectly with Fort Grey and the rainbow taking centre stage in an amazing burst of colour.

Along with about 8 other lambs, the little one was only born yesterday. I got talking to the owner who said more were on the way. You can see them from the road driving inland from Bordeaux.

Spotted these three on the side of the road near L’Eree. It’s a bit like a drive through wildlife park down there at the moment. On the left you have an army of pigs, on the right you have donkeys, sheep, chickens and turkeys. Head up L’Eree hill and you've got geese, more sheep and horses!

An unlikely friendship but in this day and age, anything goes!

My previous years of exploring Guernsey tell me that this is time when the lambs start to appear. I’ve been searching for nearly a week now and by pure chance I found these little guys. Spring had arrived!
