One of those days where giving up this whole project crossed my mind a few times. But, I don’t quit easily. Even if I have to leave my nice warm house to venture into the rain, I will get a shot somehow!

I’ve lost count as to how many times I’ve driven past here and tried to visulaise exactly how I’d capture it. Today I had my breakthrough. What a stunning house though, looks even better in spring when the trees in bloom.

After yesterday’s adventures, today was like a slap in the face until it stopped raining on my way home. Saying that, shooting at night is great because the light doesn’t really change giving you more time to slow down.

Pretty wet and miserable day on the Rock. The advantage of rain is the clarity it gives the paving and foreground subjects. The down side is constantly cleaning the lens!
