I’ve seen some pretty amazing things in my life but this is up there with one of the best. The wonders of our planet never cease to amaze me.

Violent 10-12 ft swell coming on off the west coast this morning. Got as close as I could with a wide lens without putting myself at risk. Even with a tripod and fairly high iso the camera shake was unavoidable.

A treat for the eyes this morning but the wave dodging was another story.

Beautiful colours in the sky in the distance. I had set up for a wider shot but this one needed a bit more reach.

Le Jaonnet Bay, probably the most difficult ‘sandy’ beach to get to, also a hotspot for the naturist in the warmer months.

A dull flat morning, probably should have stayed in bed. I made it though and won’t venture home until I’ve at least attempted to create something.

Never have i pegged it down here so fast in my life. That feeling when it’s slowly slipping away but the adrenaline kicks in and you’ll do anything to get what you what. These colours have been rare the last few months!

The best thing about autumn weather is the sun stays lower in the sky for longer and the decent golden hour light almost last for nearly an hour.

The 5th day of non stop rain and it’s getting harder and harder to find inspiration. I don’t really want to push the weather sealing on the camera too much more!
However, the misty rain rolled in and there was only on place I could think of to make the best out of a pretty crap day. Think this is the third version this year, it’s just up a path from Saints Bay road. It reminds me of the creature form Stranger Things.

I’ve always thought this rocky outcrop looks like two dogs sitting back to back. A Great Dane on the left and a Bulldog on the right?

Must have used every obscenity in the English language battling through traffic this morning, knowing and watching the fantastic light fade. Luckily I had a 2-3 minute window before this amazing sight disappeared.
