Sunrise

DREAMY

21.08.22

There was a good 20 minutes of amazing colour transformation this morning. I was headed to the south coast but didn’t have enough time. One of my favourites from this year I think.

CATCHING SUNRISE

13.08.22

Seeing this guy fishing at sunrise made me really want to take it up another pass-time. But, for now I will stay behind the camera and prepare for hopefully a dramatic autumn and winter!

I found it really hard to find a boat with any foreground interest until I was about to leave, the sun came out and the clouds properly lit up. Love the little mounds of sand.

STREET LIGHT

09.06.22

Amazing sunrise this morning but other than squeeze it all into one frame, I felt the need to find a more intimate extract. I’ve walked this route home many times over the years and I do remember one time after a night out seeing this exact same scene. I felt a lot more human this time round!

THE CAVE

22.05.22

Power run down the cliffs to get to Marble Bay in time for sunrise. Imagine Sonic’s legs at full speed, that’s what it felt like!

Decided to give the cave another go as the tide was out. A few more clouds would have been nice but you can’t with the all.

Still waiting for that 2022 ultimate sunrise! These clouds thinned out pretty quickly as I left home so didn't quite live up to expectations but hopefully with the warmer weather comes some epic storm clouds.
