Winter

DARK SKY

31.03.22

From glorious sunshine for a whole week to a complete u-turn of icy cold arctic winds and wintry showers. This was a few minutes before the hail hit and it was painful. I’d forgotten how much it hurts being shot in the face with thousands of hail stones!

I also found loads of newborn lambs today so I’ll head back and grab some shots tomorrow.

AFTER THE RAIN

21.02.22

Sheltered from the wind with my car boot open, the 50mph winds swiftly carried the rain over the bay and out towards the channel. Unfortunately I was a few minutes too late to get some decent light.

COBO

18.02.22

A far cry form those scorching hot summer days, paddle board in hand and the waft of fresh bbq coals burning in the air.

GRANDES ROCQUES

11.02.22

For the first time in what feels like an eternity, I finally caught some colour at the end of day. Didn’t have much time to find a composition so to compensate I added myself for some perspective.

COMMON PEOPLE

28.01.22

An opportunity not to be mist! Out on the common this morning, trying not to fall back on shooting the same angles. There was a dog walker in the scene a few minutes earlier which helped but the sun was a bit lower and it didn’t give the same golden glow as this one.

ST MARTINS CHURCH

24.01.22

Turned out to be an stunning day once the clouds had buggered off. Feeling the warm sun only face felt good. Inspiration wise, January is a shitter to get through so anything goes and sometimes you’ve just got to accept that better things will come (hopefully).
